I was having lunch with my department head the other day, when she asked me what I do for fun. It took me a while to come up with an answer, because the first things that came to mind were - watching Japanese dramas and anime, World of Warcraft, fantasy novels. A little too old for college kid hobbies? At this point in life my hobbies should be more like golf, or wine tasting, or photography, or some other sort of mature-sounding activity that allows for moments of profound thought and enlightenment.

I’ll save the deep insights and revelations for when I’ve finally grown up. For now, I’ll obsess about all the embarrassing little things I want. To hell with propriety, yah?
